"DOORMAN!"

Living in Vegas has opened my eyes to a lot of things. One of them being the power a girl holds with her looks alone(where else can you make a 6 figure salary being a cocktail waitress?). I see it happen every weekend. They send the ugly girls to the back of the line (or just ignore them completely.), and the good looking ones get right in, no questions asked. The girls walk up to the bouncer, throws in a few "handsome", "baby", and "honey's" in a sentence and they're in there like swimwear. It's pretty sad actually. They just eat it up. What? You just think you're just that cool, that ALL the hot girls in Vegas like you? Put your boner away man. Guys probably have it the worst though. First of all, taking in the fact that 90% of the girls in the club don't pay to get in anyway, why is the cover for a male more than a female? Is it because we take up more space than girls do? Guys are the ones spending all their money in the club, give them a break. It's a business though, I understand.............I guess.When I first moved here and I didn't know who to call to get into a club, I dealt with my fair share of "You need to have some girls with you guys", and I cannot tell you how many times I've played this scene back in my head.

So next time you get sent away by a bouncer, let him know whats really good.

We all know somebody trying to come up in the music industry today. There are A LOT of people trying to mountain climb their way to the top but not everybody is going to make it. Of course, I respect everyone's grind but the fact of the matter is, as well as in any other field, not everybody is good enough to be great. Nowadays, if you want to "make it" in the music industry, you cannot just do you (sadly). You have to worry about what the audience wants to hear. $$$. That's why everyone's good music comes out before they are famous. Because after, for a lot of rappers, it becomes about whats gonna make the most money. When I listen to a up and coming artists songs, I rate them upon 1. their style/flow/voice 2. their lyrics 3. and if it is actually something I would put on my ipod. I think having the right voice is crucial. If your lyrics are great but you cant deliver them, whats the point?  For example: Meet, filipino born, Kixxie Siete out of Hawthorne, California. I think he has that voice/sound.

Do you guys know what "sound" I'm talking about? Its not easy to find. Sometimes I come across peoples music and I'm just like "Whhhhhhy???". But you gotta respect their grind, you know? This blog probably sucks but nobody hates me for it...I think.

This guy is crazy. The crazy thing about this guy is that he is literally a musical genius. At an early age, Leslie taught himself how to play the piano. He developed the ability to recite music, and arrange chords to create songs. He took the SAT when he was 14, and guess what he scored? Yeah, 1600. He graduated from Harvard when he was 19, and then on top of that, he plays like every instrument that was ever created

 I used to spend hours watching his videos on YouTube where he shows everybody how he came up with his songs. I want to post up all his videos, but if I had to choose one that best displays his talent, it would be this one.
